He was also GM/VP at Hibu, VP at Stamps.com and Sr. Associate for McKinsey. He has an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a BS with High Honors from Northwestern University.
Jessie Gruber, a fifteen year digital media industry veteran is currently leading the programmatic operations and strategy team at Everyday Health Group. She began her career in advertising operations for World Wrestling Entertainment and then at publishers Viacom, Dow Jones and Verve Mobile, where she ran advertising operations, performance analytics and yield management. At Everyday Health Group, Jessie’s team is responsible for all programmatic and data buying and selling across a portfolio of sites that includes EverydayHealth, What To Expect, BabyCenter and MedPageToday. Jessie is a graduate of Syracuse University.
Sundeep Kapur advises on regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, and other data initiatives involving complex or emerging technologies. He possesses an in-depth technical and legal understanding of the adtech ecosystem (e.g., connected TV, linear TV, over-the-top media, desktop, mobile) and is a key contributor to the development of industry-wide adtech privacy solutions. He also advises on compliance with self-regulatory regimes developed by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), and Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA).
Jeff Roby has served as the Director of Enterprise Privacy at Best Buy since 2021. In that role, he oversees privacy compliance and risk management activities across Best Buy’s retail, advertising, and health businesses and provides legal support to the cybersecurity and data incident response teams. Prior to joining Best Buy, he spent nearly 16 years with U.S. Bank, where he held a number of positions in legal, compliance and risk management, finishing his tenure as Assistant General Counsel for Privacy and Data Strategy. He enjoys teaching and speaking on privacy topics, including serving as an adjunct instructor at the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law. He is a graduate of the University of South Dakota and the USD Knudson School of Law. He also holds a CIPP/US certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Jeff resides in Minneapolis with his family and enjoys travel, photography, and playing guitar if he has a free moment.
